From Tween To Teen - Pranavaa

Hey Dreamers! How’s it goin in Dreamland? We’re back on #ChaoticThursday. Did ya guys miss us? Well, we certainly did! Today we’ll be narrating our 13^th birthday!! There’ll be two parts. Each will be our individual perspectives. This one’s Pranavaa’s. Let’s jump right in!

I had been waiting for my 13th for AGES! I’d been prepping for it since the day after my 12^th birthday. I was THAT exited (I mean, who wouldn’t be?!).

So the day finally arrived! I woke up to my mother wishing me and telling me to get ready for school. For the first time in my life, I was excited to go! Hold up, there’s a reason for it; it was because I got to wear my birthday outfit to school! I wore a cute top that was white and red with a pair of high-waisted jeans that was ripped at the ends. I had to admit, I looked cute (for the first time ever! Duh!).  Then I slipped on my sneakers that were white with a cute pattern on it. After that I ate my breakfast and headed down to board my bus.

When I reached school I went to my class and everyone wished me! I was so happy! Then we were all waiting for the time to turn to my birth time, so they all could wish me!

So when the clock finally turned to my birth time, everyone shouted ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY!’ and started to sing the birthday song. This was not as awkward as those times when they sing it and you just stand there not knowing what to do (been there, done that!). I was in my own world; really happy that in that right moment, I turned into an actual official teenager! The whole day went by pretty slow actually, which is good ‘cause I was livin in the moment!

Once school was over, my mom came to pick us up (‘us’ includes me, Sunu, Dhanya and Aishu)! They planned on coming to our house before the party, so that we could all get ready together! It was super fun! We decorated the house for an hour with the help of my amazing grandparents and we got ready for another. The decorations were so cool! We put up large letter balloons spelling ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ and there was a huge ‘13’ balloon, too. We had pink and black balloons everywhere! (Yes, it was black and pink themed).

My birthday outfit for the party was a jumpsuit which had pink and black stripes over it. Once we were all done getting ready, we crashed the party! I was talking with Aishu the whole time! We were talking about her upcoming birthday (which was only two days away from mine), me turning thirteen, school and stuff like that. We both were also just chilling and listening to the music that was being played.

Then after a while of laughing, singing and talking; we were going to cut the cake. The cake was huge! It was in the shape of thirteen AND was coordinated with the theme (couldn’t get any better!). The cake was also super delicious. I LOVED it! Then we all ate dinner and me and Sunu unwrapped presents. After that the day came to end. We had the time of our lives! We couldn’t have been more grateful! The day was the best one of my life! I couldn’t have asked for more. It was perfect and was everything I ever wanted it to be!
