Positively Teenage
Heyo Dreamers (for anyone who's wondering, dreamers are what we call our readers)! How’s it goin’ in Dreamland? Today we’re here with our first post in the segment ‘Where the Chaos Is’! Hope you guys enjoy it!
We had so many expectations for our teenage years. But well everyone knows teen years are known for it's crappy mood swings. Ugh! We hate ‘em. Out of the blue, we both started acting all angry for no reason, We snapped at everyone for the silliest things. We picked fights a LOT more than usual. We were super stressed. We argued with our parents. And we basically, HATED life.
We knew we had to do something about this. We knew we were acting ill-natured but *don’t hate us for this* it felt good. Letting everything out, snapping at someone, feeling powerful and dominating, all of these just felt good. It was one of those times where you think ‘If this is wrong, I don't want to be right’.
So we decided to ask for help. And of course, as any teenager would ever do, we didn’t ask our parents (it’s a teenager thing). Pranavaa searched some books up online and we found this book called ‘Positively Teenage’. We right away ordered it and eventually read it. And let us tell you, it’s a life saver! Take our word for it. It focuses on EVERY aspect of the teenage life. It helped us realize that we can control how we react to this stuff, even though we can’t control what happens. It’s a book about teenage well-being. And it’s a MUST read for every teen!! You HAVE to read it! We might make another post about the book and its message. So stay tuned for that!
That’s all for this post guys! Make sure to comment and follow our blog! Love ya’ll! Keep dreaming! X

Wow! I cant believe u guys made a whole post about the teenage life! And here i was, thinking i have changed a lot and that i have become so snappy and stuff! I was feeling so insecure at first! But then when Pranavaa told me about this stuff (I know this would happen, but i needed someone for reassurance), i knew i was not alone. Oh and pranavaa, u r definitely lending me the book when we go to school again! ok?

Wow! Thats soo true! I remember bieng the most cheerful person you'd ever meet before i became a teenager! I'm so different from my past self now! I never realized this but now I realize it! Thanks to your post!
ReplyDeleteWell, we all change and it's just a part of the journey. Anyway, thanks for commenting :)

I thought my... either super-hyper-I'm-sure-I'm-ADHD or I-don't-think-I'm-a-couch-potato-I-think-I'm-the-couch-itself modes came from not jumping around enough, and not feeling good enough.
ReplyDeleteBut NOW I realized, it happens with everybody! (that doesn't some one should just lie around thinking 'oh, it's a teenage thing!' We needa give being cheerful our best try!)
So, it was a great post! But this (almost. Ugh!) teenage thing made me kinder, definitely. I was the ultimate badass at my previous school, and you didn't mess with me unless you wanted your fingers broken.
Okay, that was only for the boys, but...!!
Anyway, now I realized I'm not the only ruiqeryuefhueyuy4u3teuwfy teen in the world! Thank you for existing, everybody!
