Pop, Pop and More Pop! (Little mix's Confetti - Review)

Hiya Dreamers! How's it goin' in Dreamland? Today, as we already mentioned in the last post, we'll be reviewing Little Mix's new album 'Confetti'!!! If you guys don't know Little Mix, they are a world famous English girl group formed in 2011, consisting of four members. The four incredible women are Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson. We both have been big fans of them for a long time now and as they dropped a new album, we had no better idea than to review the album. So lessgo!!!

The album, Confetti was released on 6th November 2020, by RCA Records and it contains of thirteen songs. The album is not focused on one particular topic, it's varied and fully pop. Jesy Nelson said that they just had fun and wrote songs that they liked and the album "came together". Agreeing, Jade Thirlwall said that this album is just about "writing brilliant pop songs that we (The girl group) love". Confetti is their 6th studio album and it's their album debut after parting ways with Syco Music, their previous record label.

Our favorite tracks include, Confetti, Not a Pop Song, A Mess (Happy 4 U), Happiness, Sweet Melody and Breathe. 

The song, Confetti, shows pure, independent girl power and enjoying life on your own! The beats of the song is...DON'T EVEN GET US STARTED ABOUT IT! 

Not a Pop Song, has one message LOUD and CLEAR. Nobody controls them. Through the song, they show that they don't need to live up to anyone's expectations and do what others tell them to. The pre-chorus also proposed that they were a puppet of Simon's (Simon Cowell. They're previous boss) strings. Anyway, the song is really empowering! And we're warning you; you CANNOT stop playing it on repeat. Trust us, we learnt it the hard way ;D. It's super catchy! 

A Mess (Happy 4 U), showcases heartbreak and still maintaining peace between the both. You'll REALLY want to sing along to this one. 

Happiness shows finding happiness in being single. It's like 'I don't need YOU to be happy, I can be happy with myself'. 

Sweet Melody kinda showcases the girls' experiences with betrayal in love. The story of the song was very elaborately explained throughout the song. And the melody of the song was really remarkable. 

Breathe is pure heartbreak. And the vocals of the song is PURE HEAVEN! Again, you really can't resist singing along to this one, too. Scratch that, you can't resist singing along to ANY of this album's song. 

Let us tell you, there is no better album than Confetti to go to, to be on top of your mood. It's so uplifting and you'll find yourself singing along to it. It's the perfect mix of pop songs! If you ever feel sad or down, just put on this album, get onto your feet and dance like nobody's watching. The beats and vocals of the album is EXTRAODINARY! We loved the WHOLE album. EVERY one of the songs, was out of this world! We're not even over-exaggerating here. We're sure all you guys will become Mixers (Little Mix fans) after listening to the album. The girls once again managed to impress us, like always! We rate the album a 4.5/5!! It's THAT GOOD!
