Skin care for amateurs
Hey Dreamers! How's it goin' in Dreamland? Today we're here with a highly requested (well at least as high as it can get here lol) post! Note that all the products we use are prescribed by our dermatologist and if any of you guys are planning on using the same, we advise you guys to check the content and composition of that product before using it on your skin. And one more thing - we haven't found a stable skin care routine yet, 'cause we're still working on our acne. Now, what are we waiting for? Here's our skincare!
Pranavaa:
I have really oily skin, so all the products I use are meant for my oily skin. Also, as I have oily skin, I wash my face with lukewarm water. So if any of y'all have oily skin, wash your face with lukewarm water! It really helps contain the oil.
The products I use:
Face wash: Ahaglow S face wash (foam)
Moisturizer: Acne - OC moisturizer
Day cream: Aziderm 20% gel
Night cream: Deriva CMS gel
In the morning:
Wash my face with the face wash, moisturize with the moisturizer, and apply my day cream on my acne affected areas. Wash it off after an hour.
Before bed:
Wash my face with the face wash, moisturize with the moisturizer, and apply my night cream on my acne affected areas. Leave it overnight and wash it off in the morning (where I again do my morning skincare).
I also wash my face a couple times in between with plain water, because my skin tends to get really oily.
Sunethra:
I have dry skin. And ya know, I'm a teen, so of course I have acne. The creams I use are for the acne and the moisturizer for dry skin. As I have a dry skin, I wash my face with cold water.
The products I use:
Face wash: Acnelak
Moisturizer: Acmist moisturizing cream gel
Day cream: Aziderm 20% cream (this one's different from Pranavaa's. Hers is the gel and mine is the cream)
Night cream: Deriva CMS gel
In the morning:
Wash my face, apply the moisturizer (at that time I'll have very dry skin due to the face wash), apply the day cream. Wash it after an hour.
Before bed:
Wash my face, apply the moisturizer, apply the night cream.
There you have it guys! Our long-awaited skincare! Now before you go, we have some skin care tips in store for you guys!
- Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!

Hey! Great! I can't really tell if I have oily skin or dry.
ReplyDeleteLike, the oil-secreting areas (such as the nose and chin) are oily for almost everybody (including me). Otherwise, no, not really.
My skin isn't always dry, but this winter, it's tearing horribly.
I'll remember your tips!
DeleteAnd yeah, acne, but it's not that bad, because my grandma has a lot of knowledge about acne-solving, and I listen to her (except for the mud packs like Multani mitti because I can't stand it)
DeleteI have oily skin and I too use the night cream, Deriva CMS gel. As my doctor prescribed me. Thanks for sharing.=)
