"As real and honest as I've (Shawn) ever been" (Shawn Mendes' Wonder - Album Review)

Hey Dreamers! How's it goin' in Dreamland? Missed us? We certainly did!! Anyway, we're here to your rescue! You don't need to miss us anymore! You're welcome ;) Anyway anyway, today we're here with the review for WOnDeR!! Yay!! The album was so cool and, we're gonna be honest here, LOOOONG awaited. And we can't wait for you guys to read our "review" lol. Without further ado, let's get into it!

Wonder is the fourth studio album of the Shawn Mendes. If y'all don't know who he is (which we're pretty sure everyone does), Shawn Mendes is a Canadian singer-songwriter.

Wonder, as we already mentioned, is his fourth studio album; released on 4 December 2020 by Island Records. Today we'll be reviewing the Holiday Deluxe version of the album.

We both personally thought that Shawn was very candid in writing this album. He and his feelings were reflected through this album. He isn't afraid to write songs expressing how and what he feels, and about things that happen to him or things that he's been through and that's what we love about Shawn! He feels OKAY to talk about himself and his life without hiding anything or feeling awkward or embarrassed about his feelings. The moment you listen to the album and understand the lyrics, you'll start seeing Shawn in a way you've never before. Your respect for him will suddenly boost up for the fact that he's not afraid to express. 

This album felt very sing-along-ish (if that's a word lol). You would definitely want to bring out the lyrics page of the songs when you're listening. We so badly wanted to sing along to the songs the second we heard it! Our favorite songs include, 305, Higher, Look Up At The Stars, The Christmas Song, Monster, 24 Hours, Song for No One and Wonder. 

The Christmas Song is the perfect mellow Christmas song you could find! Definitely add it to your Christmas playlist! Both Camila (Cabello) and Shawn's vocals in the song were perfect and will definitely get you swaying to the song. 

Monster is an amazing song and it's the perfect example of what we told you about him expressing his opinions through his music. This song featured Justin Bieber and they both wrote about the "price of fame" as seventeen magazine stated. They both were open and candid in writing this song. And we like the fact that they didn't try to hide it. And moreover, iT's FeAtURiNg JuStIn BeibEr, baby! Who wouldn't want to listen to Shawn and Justin together?

We don't know why, but the album felt inspirational. We don't know what we feel inspired to do or what we're inspired for but it just feels inspiring, kinda empowering. It's a weird feeling but we like it. Maybe we're feeling empowered of our emotions. We really don't know what kind of a feeling this is but it really feels good. You'll get us once you listen to it. Like actually listen to it. Not play it in the background. 

On that note, Go LiSTeN tO ThE aLbUM!! You will not regret it! We'll rate it a solid 4/5.
