How to have a self-care Sunday!
Heyyyy Dreamers! How's to goin' in Dreamland? We know school can be tiring and weekdays can really wear you out. The weekends also have the ability to make you a couch potato. And as you know, today is a #DreamerSunday and we thought what better day to look after yourself than on a Sunday? Therefore, today we're here with some tips on how to have a self care Sunday. Lessgo!!!
First off, what IS self care?
It's basically just taking care of yourself. It's taking action to improve yourself into someone better. It's doing things that makes you truly happy on the inside.
Now here are the tips to have a self care Sunday:
1) Do a brain dump - Just write down all your thoughts onto paper. Everything you're feeling, everything you want to share, everything that's been disturbing you, basically EVERYTHING that's on your mind; just dump it all down. Do this first thing in the morning, so that you'll have a fresh start to the day!
2) Write down positive affirmations - Doing this can improve your mental health a lot. We're not gonna go deep into this 'cause we've already made a post about it. You can check it out right here.
3) Make a gratitude list - Jotting down the things that you're grateful about can make you happy when you're down. Sometimes we tend to ask for things we don't have and forget to be grateful about the things we already have and the people we have in our life. Sitting down and mindfully writing everything you're grateful for is a massive self care move.
4) Taking a good warm shower/bath - Taking a warm shower can be soo relaxing! Try it!
5) Get into your comfy clothes and turn on your favorite playlist - Who doesn't love music?
6) Dance your heart out - You can listen to your favorite playlist and take a nap or you can dance like no one's watching. We can all agree to the fact that dancing your heart out can make you feel soo much better. You can also workout if you want!
7) Skincare! - Put on a face mask or just do your normal skincare. You just gotta show yo' skin some love.
8) Do any of your hobbies or try new things - Pretty self explanatory. It can be cooking, DIY-ing, reading or writing. Anything you enjoy!
9) Watch your favorite movie or binge something - There's nothing like treating yourself to a much - awaited binge. If you don't know what to watch, here's our favorite TV shows to binge.
10) Eat something WITHOUT feeling guilty - For once, eat something you really want and actually ENJOY it!
That's all we have today! The main thing is just that you take care of yourself and ENJOY it! Self care Sundays are so amazing, so make sure to have one! Better yet, why don't you have one today? Go on! Do it! It's never too late! Also make sure to tell us how it went. Love y'all! X

It went so fast. The years, I can feel it know. Right now i feel that realising mistakes is truly very heart breaking. You can’t focus in anything you like. I never know why I am saying this here. But as usual, it was mind blowing!!!! ;D

ReplyDeleteMy Sunday usually starts a little late, like, say, 9 or 9:30, and then our family binge-watches some series till 11:45 and then we shut off the TV and I go for my finance-management classes, and then I study/pass my time waiting for my parents to come back for tv/practice/practice with Vihaa.
I LOVE dancing my heart out, but sometimes I just forget to do it while practicing with Vihaa.
But at least we work out and I try to teach Vihaa how to do dance moves which include hip thrusts (Vihaa's dark secret - she CAN'T do hip thrusts. But she's trynna learn?)
I don't do gratitude lists, but our Finance-management classes (Vihaa and I take them together) include a miracle gratitude prayer for a whole minute or two.
Okay, so this was so cool, and yet again I'm late for the comment. Forgive meeee!!! I've been busy with an audition!!! YESS I AUDITIONED! Like, I wasn't prepared, really, I didn't know what song to sing, because I never really tried karaokes before, and I was so freaking nervous and worst of all the audition was on 20th and I came to know about it on 19th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
