5 things you NEED to add to your routine!
Hey Dreamers! How's it goin' in Dreamland? Today we're gonna be telling y'all five things you need to add to your daily routine. These are things that we think will make your days amazing and give you that fulfilled feeling when you go to bed! We're not gonna keep you waiting anymore, you can jump right in!
"Wake up with determination. Go to bed with satisfaction."
1. Move your body - The first thing you need to add to your routine is to get some sort of movement in the day. This doesn't always have to be a high intensity workout. You can dance, take a walk, go for a run, do some yoga, or low-impact workouts. It could be anything that'll get you moving. Also, you don't always have to do this early in the morning like most people. You can do it any time of the day. Just make sure you're not doing any heavy workouts right after eating a meal (wait for at least 2-4 hours).
2. Go read that book - Reading can make you feel so good no matter what! You can read fiction or non-fiction. It's totally up to you! For those of you who already read everyday, YAY! Good for you! For those of you who don't (like us), you gotta get your game on. Even reading a page or two everyday can make a difference. TrY iT!
3. Quiet time - All of our lives have changed the past years, that it's almost impossible to get some quiet time. As humans, we NEED our quiet time to relax and unwind. Here are some things you can do to get some quiet time in the day:
- Meditation: Closing your eyes and relaxing your shoulders and body and focusing on your breath can be really peaceful.
- No screen time for the first and last hour of your day.
- Do some relaxing yoga to soothe the mind and body.
4. PLAY! (with or without people) - It could be a board game, pretend play, LARP, playing cards, Sudoku, hide and seek, anything that'll help you enjoy! Playing everyday (or even once a week) with some of your family or friends could really help your mental health! This maybe doesn't necessarily have to be playing, just do something that makes you happy at least. You VERY VITALLY need some source of happiness/enjoyment in your day (we both play cards whenever we could).
5. Connect with people - Talk to the people around you everyday. The others we live with everyday, like our friends and family, are who helps us grow and learn and live. You should always remember that "we live life not only for ourselves but for the others". You can't always say "Oh I'm so lonely, I don't have anyone to call a friend" when in the first place you're the one who's not reaching out. You also can't expect to live a happy life prioritizing you, you and only you. You need to prioritize others in your life and shine the spotlight on them, too.

You ARE somehow surrounded by the people you need (your family and friends and ALL the other people that you know) So prioritize them. Connect with them. A little chat about your day to your loved ones can go a long way. And once in a while connect with other people, too (people who you're not super close with).
